Local Philosophy

Fukuoka is where ancient Japan meets modern street food. I grew up between a 1,300-year-old shrine and the best ramen stalls in the country. I'll take you from a morning visit to a sacred mountain to an evening yatai (street food stall) where you'll eat tonkotsu ramen shoulder-to-shoulder with locals. Fukuoka is small enough to feel like a village and wild enough to surprise you every night.
