Your Safety
You're traveling to a new country to meet someone you've never spoken to. We understand what that takes — and we take it seriously. Every part of Tourish.jp is built around your safety, from how we vet Friends to how we handle your data.
How we protect you
Every Friend on Tourish.jp is personally interviewed and background-checked by our team in Tokyo. We meet them face-to-face before they ever appear on the platform. No exceptions.
All bookings begin in public spaces — train stations, cafes, or well-known landmarks. We encourage Friends and travelers to stay in public areas throughout the booking.
All booking details and coordination happen through Tourish.jp. Your contact information is only shared with your assigned Friend after a booking is confirmed.
If something feels wrong, our safety team is one message away. Contact tourish.com@gmail.com at any time during your booking and we will respond immediately.
For Travelers
Always meet your Friend in the agreed public meeting point.
Share your booking details and meeting location with someone you trust.
Keep your phone charged and with you at all times.
Trust your instincts — if something feels off, contact us immediately.
Stay in public spaces. Do not go to private residences.
Report any inappropriate behavior to tourish.com@gmail.com.
If you are in immediate danger, call Japanese emergency services: 110 (Police) or 119 (Ambulance/Fire).
