By accessing and using Tourish.jp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our platform.
Tourish.jp connects international visitors with vetted local Japanese individuals ("Friends") for in-person companionship and cultural exchange. We are not a tour agency. We do not employ Friends — we facilitate bookings between travelers and independent local hosts who share their time and knowledge of Tokyo.
All bookings are made through our platform. Rates are flat: ¥3,000/hour or ¥20,000/day, as set by each Friend. Payment is processed securely at the time of booking confirmation. Upon confirmation, you will receive details including your Friend's name, photo, and meeting point.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled booking receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are eligible for a 50% refund. No-shows or cancellations within 12 hours are non-refundable. Once the reserved booking time has passed, no refund is available. To cancel, contact us at tourish.com@gmail.com.
Users and Friends must treat each other with respect and dignity at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abuse will result in immediate removal from the platform. Tourish.jp Friends are not tour guides in a professional capacity — they are locals sharing their daily life. Treat them as you would a personal friend.
All Friends are personally vetted and interviewed by our team. However, Tourish.jp is not liable for the conduct of Friends or users during a booking. You participate at your own risk. We strongly recommend that all interactions take place in public spaces. Any safety concerns should be reported immediately to tourish.com@gmail.com.
As a safety precaution, male customers may only book male Friends. This applies to all bookings without exception. Female customers may book any available Friend. This policy exists to protect both our Friends and our customers, and we appreciate your understanding.
Your personal information — name, email, and booking details — is used solely to facilitate your booking and improve our service. We do not sell your data. Your contact information is shared with your assigned Friend only after a booking is confirmed. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You may not use Tourish.jp for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. This includes, but is not limited to: soliciting Friends for services beyond cultural companionship, requesting romantic or intimate encounters, using the platform for commercial gain, or attempting to circumvent booking fees by arranging direct payments with Friends.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Tourish.jp after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
